Lloyds Pharmacy Exposed AGAIN

I have vague memories of reading about the unreliability of the Lloyds pharmacy blood pressure monitor a while back and  following yesterdays post about discovering that Lloyds were overcharging for Frontline Spot On – the effective flea control drops for pussy cats – a whopping €28.88 for six pipettes I became curious as to where this product could be cheaper. I knew that the Frontline for cats isn’t cheap but at almost a fiver per treatment there had to be shurely shome mishtake with Lloyds pricing.

Lloyds Chemist Most Expensive for Frontline?frontline spot on cats

A visit to Tight As a Gnats Chuff Forum and a quick new thread added revealed that Lloyds Chemist were indeed overcharging for Frontline flea contol for cats – in fact compared to a selection of alterntive suppliers  Lloyds were the most expensive by far.

Cheaper Frontline Spot on for Cats

Many thanks to all who quickly contributed to the debate – the first reply actually identified an online supplier vetsuk that offered the Spot on pack of 6 for €16 with no postage charge – order placed and the pussy cat eagerly anticipates treatment – like heck – two drops on the back of his neck and its a squabble then voom out the door and dirty looks for the next few hours.

A gift idea – continuing on with the suggestion of make your own Christmas hamper –  if you are making a hmper for cat owners consider including a pipette of Frontline – because its the Pussy Cat’s Christmas too but to give entire Christmas hampers to individual pets would be seen as a bit too thoughtful

Thanks for your suggestions for where to buy cheaper Frontline Spot on – please comment.
