It’s right to joke about anything! It is a free country after all…
To laugh at something that scares us removes its power to do so.
Given that the objective of terrorism is fear, laughter and ridicule is precisely the way to combat it.
Right to Joke about Terrorism
It’s not only right to joke about terrorism. Our response to terrorists should be ridicule. But instead we big them up, change our way of life, encouraging more of these pathetic losers to follow. Because other than causing mayhem, destruction and inconvenience, these people would never amount to anything. So let’s ridicule them, and aspiring terrorists. It’s part of our defence against them.
Some terrorist jokes might be crude or insensitive, but never is it ok to react violently.

This is exactly the attitude that got us through the 2nd World War and I agree whole-heartedly.
We should laugh at terrorism. We shouldn’t stop respecting its victims, but it should never be wrong to disarm these fools and conquer our fears.

I agree with you, that you can fight your fear with positive thinking, good mood and laugh, so if this jokes helps someone, he can read them. After all, it’s always a personal choice what to read and what not.
As you said in the original post, it is our duty to laugh at terrorism, and at all horrible things that can happen for that matter. It gives us a different perspective of things in life, and probably help us accept certain things that would otherwise make our life a misery. It sounds harsh, but without comedy, black or soft, our lives would simply as dark as what terrorist are aiming to produce with their acts.
Not sure we should laugh at terrorism. Don’t think that is the correct wording here, but I am so very dim I cannot think of any good terrorism jokes.
