Making Sense of Analytics Tracking Code

A head who wasted my afternoon on minutia called Mort was kind enough to spoil occupy my afternoon buy pointing out that all external links bar one one the most recent pasty muncher posts had the following code applied- onclick=”javascript:pageTracker._trackPageview(’/outbound/ which checking with the wordpress autor plugin Joost was useful to help identify where visitors through outbound links were going to after being bored or educated by my offerings.

This link to a wikitravel article about blood pressure and travel done in html mode using link

A link to a great shop for fish food using linky in Visual mode and including a title for the link.

Generous to a fault the same site gets a deep link into its extensive but crap car hire which hs been edited

and for good measure how about a freebie – free ads on this classified site.

Let’s see what happens in this test.

Now that you know where your visitors are usually going from your site could you be kind enough and posted some kind of stats? They don’t even need to very extensive, just wondering where most people go from pasty muncher.
