Special offer in the Telegraph with Lloyds for cat frontline - £4 0ff ! when I went to retrieve the 3 pipettes I was asked £13.99 (asking price £19.99)and at least £4 on the price from on line. Are there two fraudsters- the newspaper and the chemist or the is Telegraph the ignorant accomplace ? Offer ends 26th July
Lloyds head office seemed offended when I stated my views.

You need to be aware that whilst I am not defending Lloyds, Merial who manufacture Frontline have a peculiar way of dealing with their pricing. I am a small retailer and am qualified to sell these products. I personally put a lot of effort in with the customer to help them with a flea problem and it is expensive for us to hold in stock.
Yes we sell it under RRP but Merial give massive discounts to online sellers because they buy loads so it is a chicken and egg. Compared to other products my profit is to the bone but I pay for Frontline what online sellers are selling it for. Now that must mean there is something wrong.
Tesco charge @ weekend £18.15 for 3 pipettes, our small pet shop price £14. I expect they have offers as Lloyds do but I could not possible do offers.
I have challenged Merial but to no avail.
