Pastymuncher – Great site and Natwest!!!!!

They’ve just closed the branch in Braunton (North Devon), we used to have five in the village, now there are two left and one only opens in the mornings which means that Lloyds is always busy. Not that Lloyds will employ more staff, the existing staff just look at a permanent queue and all want to leave. The village is now full of surf shops and eateries serving non Devon food to merchant bankers who have bought most of the properties in the village and live in them for two weeks of the year!

have to agree Natwest are crap, not only that, their entire organisation is populated by read off the card morons who couldnt organize a pi** up in a brewery. I have asked my MP why us ordinary tax payers have bailed out this crap bank and why it was stopped from going down the pan. His response as expected would have to look into it. Maybe our MPs work for Natwest

i agree too! They just kept nagging me to get all those credit card promotions everytime i go to bank ,even though I rejected so many times!! They just kept on and on about it! and when I stood by my reply , they just gave me a really unfriendly face and voice! how crap!

I completely agree. Natwest are sh**e, and to go hand in hand with this, the insurance team/policies they use for customers protection is just as sh**e if not more so! As a normal person i had to take out a small loan a couple of years ago and at the same time i took out their insurance policy to cover me for redundancy. Unfortunately this year i had to act on the insurance policy following being made redundant. Now regardless of what anyone says, in my head i presumed that as i’m paying a premium each month which keeps me covered for 12 months that for 12 12 months i should not be too worried about the loan payments!? WRONG!! i still have to make the payment each month and the insurance company pay me back at a later date nonce i prove i’m still out of work. That’s sort of fair enough except for three months they keep losing the paperwork!! So to summarise and be quite frank. Natwest should just shut down as a bank and maybe reopen as a joke shop!

also, if you call Nat West customer relations unit and ask to speak to a manager, they arrange a call back but its a normal member of staff who calls you back. also make sure you write or call in 3 times for your charges back as they have to refund you after the 3rd time of calling in. is what i heard down the pub – anyway Nat West = crap bank

It’s funny that so many people have bad experiences with Natwest bank. I too have some bad experience with the bank. It’s sad that they do not do anything about it. I’m sure that many people would have complained for sure.

I’ve had similar experiences. I hate bank staff. They don’t treat the customers nor respect. Even if the problem is on their side (as it usually is with Nat West), they try to make us think that it was our fault. I hate when this happens. Mostly errors occur in bank statements and receipts.

The amount of the subsidy that flows to asset managers depends on the competitiveness of the asset selection process. If the auctions are really competitive, then the government subsidies go to the banks. If there are only a few bidders for each bundle of loans or securities, then the asset managers will get a big share of the subsidies

I’ve been banking with NatWest since 1992 and have to say that I’ve never had a problem with them.

Have you considered banking elsewhere?
