Cheap Broadband – Yes Please
What incredible times we live in. During a spare half hour I was goaded into finding pasties on t’internet. Blimey the humble savory snack (some say meal) is now global – and can be ordered online for delivery anywhere in the world.
Ever thrifty I checked the prices of available pasties online on Savebuckets – UK’s latest price comparison shopping site but was disappointed to find they were only able to offer the Cornish Pasty from Wiltshire Farm Foods at £1 hmm not much comaprison there – hobsons choice I’d say.
Since I’d taken the trouble to visit Save Buckets I wondered what else can I check up on??
As a keen gardener with other green fingered chums imagine my delight to come across an entire category dedicated to alan titchmarsh gifts!
What next? Well my broadband internet contract is up for renewal so lets search for a better deal. I’ve always been nervous that cheap packages from Tiscali and the like are a flase economy and thought it prudent to stay with bigger broadband providers such as BT. My internet search for “cheap broadband” actually displayed the BT Total Broadband packages which include their wireless wi fi broadband ”home hub” and for the moment a free digital tv recorder.
The best of both worlds – a trusted UK Broadband provider (BT) Free gifts and a choice of “Options” to suit my needs and budget.
Finally I couldn’t resist, the child in me searched for “wee” pis-smelling of nintendo’s Wii – hilarious.

Funny when I searched for crap broadband I got the BT products and services site.
Very funny when I searched for crap broadband I got the BT products and services site too

Man will do many things to get himself loved, he will do all things to get himself envied.
50% of Europeans to use mobile broadband
Half of Europeans will be using mobile broadband by 2012, a new study has claimed.
Lower prices for mobile broadband services will dramatically increase the number of people opting to use mobile broadband technology, a study by Arthur D Little and Exane and reported by TotalTelecom claims.
“Lower [data] prices, the rollout of HSDPA networks, and also the uptake of HSDPA devices means that mobile broadband traffic growth is set to explode,” Antoine Pradayrol, head of telecoms at Exane BNP Paribas, told the website.
The increasing usage of mobile broadband is expected to put pressure on carriers however.
Since BT are using users details for the Phorm research I would personally think twice.
Tiscali is ok as far as usage goes. My connection does get annoyingly dropped at times but it doesn’t happen often (touch wood).
Bubble Wrap
I wouldnt use mobile broadband yet. The reliability in my area leaves alot to be desired. BT has a good rep there
I couldnt agree more.
In my opinion Tiscali is the best pound for pound. I havent had reliability issues but I have heard reports of it before however.
Nice info, what about AOL Broadband?
It’s all well and good for Londoners, but for the rest of us (I live on the South coast)broadband is total crap because no-one will upgrade our ancient phone lines. No cable, no FiOS, just old oxidised copper crud. Things aren’t as advanced in the UK as they like to make out.
Yes, please fix that link!
thank u
Thanks for the great article
Thanks for this great post, mate!
I like your humour. It pepped me up.
Great post, Great sense of humor you have
nice….great sense of humour
keep it up….;) as the actress said to the Chinese Bishop.
Incidentally it was this Chinese Bishop that when asked if he knew the meaning of Lust replied “well I used to have a nissan”
Awesome article. Well written.
What broadband you think i use? myT! its really crap
The best here in my country. Yet internet connection is crap here
I have to admit your blog had me a bit confused for the first bit. I always thought a pasty was a ladys undergarment and pastry was the food…
Anyhow, I’d reccomend you avoid going with the no-name internet provider. You don’t know just how valuable your email address is until a few years later when your ISP dries up and all of a sudden your online identity no longer belongs to you! (Speaking from personal experience)
I accept to accept your blog had me a bit abashed for the aboriginal bit. I consistently anticipation a adhesive was a ladys undergarment and pastry was the food…
Anyhow, I’d reccomend you abstain traveling with the no-name internet provider. You don’t apperceive just how admired your email abode is until a few years after if your ISP dries up and all of a abrupt your online character no best belongs to you! (Speaking from claimed experience)
Hey mate,
Good post about CHEAP broadband,
It is humor too,
Sweet,
Jenny Myers
I wish they would pep up the broadband speed both up and down. Seems like we are lagging behind you folks over in europe.
I think the food is called pastry, WRONG – how very dare you comment about something you know nothing about (Muncher says) – take your crap bridal showers elsewhere and pasty is you know something else. Anyways i would suggest you go with the brand with the bigger name as business. Quite an interesting post I must say.
Crap Bridal showers, LOL Muncher, great article, humorous too.Anyways I guess I am quite late to give any opinion.
Oh my goodness, I love your intellect pasty very interesting I must say. Be glad your not stuck with crap Comcast broadband at least it soudns like you have a choice.. I did not know what pasty was until I found you blog !
speaking of broadband, 512 kbps is the speed of mine? is that crap broadband for a price of about $25 a month?
When i searched for crap business broadband i got http://businessbroadband.daisyplc.com/
Nice site – crap broadband
One interesting thing these days is because broadband tv packages usually include a landline phone for no extra cost, I’ve met people who have a Sky, Virgin or BT landline included but don’t even know the number, and never use it. Crazy!
Good blog about CHEAP crap broadband
Well you definitely get what you pay for, or in some cases what you don’t. Free always has a cost to it… mostly aggravations… but it’s nothing but just a scheme… only the consumer is never the one to truly benefit from it.
Nice idea about cheap crap broadband.
I liked this post as it it informative.
Great where do I sign up for cheap broadband? Put me on the list baby!

You were looking to buy pasties? I’m a bit confused. Pasties in America are not exactly a food item.
It is worth bearing in mind that a cheap broadband package may not be the best package for you. For example, a package that has a relatively low monthly subscription cost may have high set up costs or may require you to buy equipment such as modems and filters. crap broadband packages may also be subject to service restrictions or offer less customer support than packages that cost more.
I wouldnt use mobile broadband yet – it ias crap. The reliability in my area leaves alot to be desired. BT has a good rep there

Hi, I enjoyed your post, I was wondering whether I could find such posts on priceless metal. Your post was very informative for me
Cheap broadband is good as long as the connection is okay. Instances happen when it is cheap, it most likely tend to be not properly functioning. Unreliable in sense.
Remember, it is not just about the price. Bear in mind exactly what you could be sacrificing for the sake of a few pounds a month – high, fast downloads, reliable connection speeds, PC protection, quality customer service and peace of mind.

This is one of the best blog, i have ever seen in my life, really impressive work by webmatser, i must wanna share my views about this posting, that very low rang of people talk about this in public forum so hats off to blogger. thnx.
Nice post. Great sense of humor. I like the idea of using cheap broadband connection if the speed is good and as long as it doesn’t gets disconnected all the time.
The article is on cheap broadband but your sense of humor is truly class apart. God bless BT because Pasty Muncher is here.
Hats off to you Muncher. You gave one heck of a ride to BT. But I have heard that the service provided by BT is not that bad. Please review.
Acquiring cheap broadband service these days is very difficult as ISP are continuously raising the proces of their services.
Hi all, this is a great site by the way, i love sites that cut through the bull and give it straight from the horses mouth. As for broadband, I have lived in the states and the UK. I found the internet reliable in the states but v expensive. I paid $40 a month for Atandt. It was a good service, the customer service was very very poor. They must have 300 phone numbers and they really mess you around. American internet speeds are good and solid but they are pricey. As for the UK i have used Madasafish for a while, now I use Sky, its slow, about 1.5 meg but I tie it in with my tv deal so its good for me.
