Pam Ayres – Not Appearing in Exeter

Mother’s Day, Sunday 2nd March, Pam Ayres is to perform a show that will be broadcast via satellite live to 16 cinemas in the Picturehouses chain of cinemas.

Unlike the Wurzels who gladly included Exeter in their 2007 World Tour Pam has turned her back on live shows in Exeter and the South West.

Pam is however more hip to the beat than her fan base expect spitting lines such as

The thing about Pam you need to understand – I’m hot like the Ginsters fresh out the pan.

Ask me no questions – I’ll tell you no lies – Im tasty like the Pasty or Meat and @tater pie

Pam’s last tour of comprised 16 shows coast-to-coast in Australia, which included a full house in the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall, as well as fully sold out performances at the Edinburgh Assembly Rooms for the Festival Fringe.

The show at WIMBORNE – Tivoli Theatre will be broadcast live and direct ny satelite to the following Picturehouses at 3pm:

As yet I have yet to discover a link that I can catch a live webcast or even a podcast of this special event via broadband internet which would be helpful for those unable to afford or find it difficult to attend.

“Pam Ayres is a proper poet, whose wistful, funny, and perceptive verse captures both the joy and unfairness of life.”
Sunday Times

Warm and witty, direct and droll, the sharply funny Pam Ayres has been amusing and entertaining her many fans for years…

What incredible times we live in. During a spare half hour I was goaded into finding pasties on t’internet. Blimey the humble savory snack (some say meal) is now global – and can be ordered online for delivery anywhere in the world.

Ever thrifty I checked the prices of available pasties online on Savebuckets – UK’s latest price comparison shopping site but was disappointed to find they were only able to offer the Cornish Pasty from Wiltshire Farm Foods at £1 hmm not much comaprison there – hobsons choice I’d say.

Since I’d taken the trouble to visit Save Buckets I wondered what else can I check up on??

As a keen gardener with other green fingered chums imagine my delight to come across an entire category dedicated to alan titchmarsh gifts!

What next? Well my broadband internet contract is up for renewal so lets search for a better deal. I’ve always been nervous that cheap packages from Tiscali and the like are a flase economy and thought it prudent to stay with bigger broadband providers such as BT. My internet search for “cheap broadband” actually displayed the BT Total Broadband packages which include their wireless wi fi broadband ”home hub” and for the moment a free digital tv recorder.

The best of both worlds – a trusted UK Broadband provider (BT) Free gifts and a choice of “Options” to suit my needs and budget.

Finally I couldn’t resist, the child in me searched for “wee” pis-smelling of nintendo’s Wii – hilarious.
